In the year 3000, evil mutant criminal Ransik is brought to justice by the Red Power Ranger, an officer of Time Force, after his trial, Ransik is placed under the escort custody of the Rangers' fiance, Jen and her close friends. Ransik manages to escape en route to prison with the aid of his daughter Nadira and cyborg accomplice Frax. He makes his way to the prison and commandeers it. Preparing to finish his previous experiments of time travel, Ransik is confronted by the same Ranger who apprehended him...

Pursuing Ransik into the past, Jen and her squad find themselves unable to activate the DNA sensitive morphers required to become Power Rangers, they find their answer in the form of Wes Collins, the genetic twin of Jens' fiance. Ransik begins his attacks in this timeline

Wes, feeling rejected, attempts to prove that he can be a worthy Red Ranger, but Jen remains firm in her belief he can't take the mission seriously.

Wes, gets the gang a new place to stay. A old clock tower, which is a odd job shop. There first job is painting a TV station and Wes, gets taken hostage by Ransik, who he tells about his problem with normal humans.

Lucas, a champion rally driver in his own time, must learn how to drive in our own when he is slapped with a speeding ticket.

Nadira holds a bus containing helpless children hostage, and demands a ransom for their safety. Believing that his family has more than enough, Wes asks Mr. Collins to pay the ransom, but when he refuses, it threatens to place Wes in a position to reconsider what means more in his life. The Rangers make an attempt to free the children from Nadira's monster Tentaclaw...

Nadira feigns a turn to good to earn Trip's trust and kidnap Circuit so she and the Medacon mutant can ensure the mechanical owl can no longer summon the Time Flyers from the future...

Jen's quest to avenge Alex places her in ever escalating danger, to the point she begins to lose her grip on her sanity. Things are not helped when her old enemy Fatcatfish resurfaces working for Ransik. Seizing an opportunity, Jen risks her life to take down not just Fatcatfish, but Ransik himself...

The development of a new tank from Mr. Collins company Bio-Lab may hold the key to stopping further attacks on the city. Meanwhile, Frax begins to develop a powerful fuel that has yet to be invented in the present, and the Rangers face a colossal threat without the aid of their critically damaged Time Flyers, will help from the future arrive?

The development of weapons to counter Ransik convinces Circuit to check his records, and he confirms that the Rangers battles are changing history ever slightly. Kate becomes paranoid that her future may be in danger of being wiped entirely and begins to doubt continuing the fight with her fellow Rangers.

Trip's lack of confidence is put to the test when the Mutant Electropede seizes a power plant and endangers a group of young children.

Mr. Collins latest scheme involves providing Silver Hills with it's own line of defense: The Silver Guardians, amongst them is Eric, an old rival of Wes, who is out to prove his superiority now that a rift exists between the Collins. An attack from Ransik however soon reveals to both Eric and his boss there is more to Wes than meets any eye...

An archaeological dig uncovers a startling future discovery, a box with futuristic markings. Following the unfolding news broadcasts of the discovery, Ransik recognizes the box as The Quantum Controller, a prototype, time-lost TF device containing unfathomable power, and launches an assault to recover it. Eric Myers however, is able to successfully secure the controller, but when pushes against the wall, he decides to awaken its untested capabilities, a new Ranger is born

With the Quantum Controller in his grasp, Eric uses his new powers to travel back in time to the Jurassic period to find the companion piece to the controller, the colossal Q-Rex, but Wes stows away on board. Together, the two rivals must work together to overcome T-Rex attacks and an exploding volcano. Meanwhile, Ransik's mutant Commandocon begins his own quest to recover The Q-Rex

With The Q-Rex under Ransik's control, the nefarious mutant begins to launch an assault in the present. Eric proposes to Mr. Collins that if he can recover the Q-Rex, he would like to be made the elite commander of The Silver Guardians, whilst Wes and the Rangers decide to take the Controller from Myers. Frax unleashes the same terrifying mutant that inflicted Ransik with his disease in the future on the present day populace of Silver Hills. Wes convinces Bio-Lab to develop a cure, whilst Frax takes specific measures to further Ransik's torment...

Mr. Collins arranges for further study of the Venomark's symptoms to the chagrin of his son Wes. Ransik, left with no antidote to stabilize his degenerate condition, launches an attack on Bio-Lab and severely injures Collins. Fearing the future is in dire jeopardy, a familiar face arrives in the past to the shock of Jen...

Wes is relieved of his Red Ranger duties by the returning Alex and immediately tends to Mr. Collins, who is near-death. Faced with knowing he is destined to take over Bio-Lab, Wes struggles to cope with fate. The Rangers are trapped within a series of mirror dimensions, and their only way out is to defeat each of the mirror's guardians, each of them an old adversary...

With his vault running low on Mutants, Ransik targets the nearby Space Center in a bid to cause as much damage as he can still afford. Circuit, his memory affected by an outside force, becomes paranoid and uncertain of his continued usefulness, but he may be the only means of preventing the Space Center from being destroyed...

With virtually all of Ransik's mutants recaptured, the Rangers reflect on their experiences together as they prepare for the inevitable final battle. Wes discovers Bio-Lab is continuing to develop the time distorting Trizirium Crystals and pleads with Mr. Collins to cease. Meanwhile Frax unleashes the Mutant Maxax

The Rangers learn from Alex that they are destined to fall in the final battle against Ransik. Wes, eager to protect his friends, hatches an elaborate scheme to remove them from harm's way, whilst Ransik locates Frax and lobotomizes him, but not before the half-human machine urges Nadira, fresh from helping deliver a human baby, to stop the cycle of hatred between humanity and mutantkind. Ransik unleashes Frax's ultimate creation, Doomtron and a legion of Cyclobots on the city.

Back in the future, Jen and the remaining Rangers are informed Wes' actions have saved their lives, but he will now perish alone. Adding insult to injury, Alex also reveals that they will not be permitted to remember their experiences in the past, or Wes and his sacrifice. Meanwhile, Wes and Eric's crusade against Ransik spreads from day to night, ultimately driving them into the Clocktower, where the two make a daring move to splinter the Cyclobot armada in half...

The Rangers return to the present to assist Wes as he faces off against millions of Cyclobots. Doomtron is utlimatley defeated, but the danger posed by Ransik remains. In a final battle, the Rangers endure a savage and brutal beating, forcing Jen to retreat into a factory, where one act of rage could prove to finally end the cycle of violence...
